# Set up Audius
URL: https://musicapi.com/docs/connect-users/configure-audius.md

> What you need from Audius (a developer app key and secret), the redirect URI and the write scope, and the Audius limits.

Product: MusicAPI Core and MusicAPI Managed Transfers. Section: Connect your users.

> **Managed integration:** A `transferring` sign-up gets copies of the integrations that MusicAPI runs. When your **Integrations** page already lists Audius, users can sign in with no setup on your side. Set up your own Audius app when your account has no Audius integration, or when users must see your app on the Audius consent screen.

## What you need from Audius

A developer app on Audius. It gives you two values:

| Audius value | MusicAPI field |
| ------------ | -------------- |
| API key      | Key            |
| API secret   | Secret         |

## Redirect URI

```url
https://api.musicapi.com/callback/audius
```

## Scope

MusicAPI asks for the `write` scope, so it can create playlists and save tracks for the user. The Audius consent screen shows your account slug as the origin: `MusicAPI [your-slug]`.

## Add it to MusicAPI

1. Open **Integrations** in the dashboard and pick Audius.
2. Paste the key and the secret, and save.
3. Turn **Is Enabled** on.
4. Press **Test Audius** and sign in once.

## Quirks

- Audius has no albums or followed artists in the API.
- You cannot reorder tracks in a playlist.
- Audius gives no ISRC, and the user search does not take one.
- An Audius sign-in has no refresh step. When it stops working, the API answers `412` and the user signs in again.
- At most 50 items per page (`limitParam`).

## Direct sign-in link
