# Set up Deezer

> **Managed integration:** A `transferring` sign-up gets copies of the integrations that MusicAPI runs. When your **Integrations** page already lists Deezer, users can sign in with no setup on your side. Set up your own Deezer app when your account has no Deezer integration, or when your users must see your app at Deezer.

## What you need from Deezer

An application at [Deezer for developers](https://developers.deezer.com). Click **Create a new application**, then copy:

## Permissions

MusicAPI asks Deezer for these permissions:

## Add it to MusicAPI

1. Open **Integrations** in the dashboard and pick Deezer.
2. Paste the Application ID and the Secret Key, and save.
3. Turn **Is Enabled** on.
4. Press **Test Deezer** and sign in once.

## Quirks

- Deezer gives no ISRC in its answers, and the user search does not take one. Matching into Deezer uses the title, the artist and the album.
- At most 50 items per page (`limitParam`), at most 2,000 tracks per playlist.
