# Look up an ISRC

Auth: Basic, Token, DevToken, DocsSession (any one of them). Use Basic with your Client ID and Client Secret from your server only.

Finds the track of one ISRC on each store that can search by ISRC: Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer, Amazon Music and Boomplay. Needs no connected user. The stores run in parallel, and each store has its own timeout, so one slow store does not hold the answer. Each store answers on its own: `found` with the track, `notFound`, or `error`. Only a track with the same ISRC counts. A found track is cached for a day and a miss for an hour; ask again later for a release that is not out yet. Each store you ask counts as one request on your usage.

## Errors

- 400: The ISRC is not a 12-character ISRC, or `sources` names a store that is not on the list.
- 401: No valid credential.
- 429: Your account sent more calls this minute than its rate limit allows.
