What you need from Audius
A developer app on Audius. It gives you two values:
| Audius value | MusicAPI field |
|---|---|
| API key | Key |
| API secret | Secret |
Redirect URI
https://api.musicapi.com/callback/audius
Scope
MusicAPI asks for the write scope, so it can create playlists and save tracks for the user. The Audius consent screen shows your account slug as the origin: MusicAPI [your-slug].
Add it to MusicAPI
- Open Integrations in the dashboard and pick Audius.
- Paste the key and the secret, and save.
- Turn Is Enabled on.
- Press Test Audius and sign in once.
Quirks
- Audius has no albums or followed artists in the API.
- You cannot reorder tracks in a playlist.
- Audius gives no ISRC, and the user search does not take one.
- An Audius sign-in has no refresh step. When it stops working, the API answers
412and the user signs in again. - At most 50 items per page (
limitParam).
